We Have a Toddler

Amaia is freaking WALKING.
Amaia took her first steps last Saturday, but didn’t take a step for the rest of the week. This Friday, she took a few steps here and there, but I wasn’t getting my hopes up. Then, yesterday (Saturday), she got up — and hasn’t crawled since.
What’s amazing is that, even though crawling would get her around faster, she is determined to perfect her walking skills. She wobbles a few steps, catches her balance, pauses. Takes a few more steps, falls on her butt, and gets right back up to keep on wobbling. Crawling is soooo two days ago.
As of three months ago, we had this child in a neurologist’s office, convinced she had cerebral palsy. Now, she’s walking. Sigh.

She's SO GOOD at regaining her balance! That's how you do, Amaia!! (Don't mind me, I'm just over here basking in the glow of the relief you're all feeling
How cute! I love the little bald baby look, but walking all over. She really is good at staying up or getting right back up! Awesome!!! And the look of pride on her face is priceless!

Not only is she walking, but she's picking up crumbs too! Give the girl a vacuum and put her to work.
p.s. The twins are eating so nicely and quietly at the table. Way to keep a household under control, Mom!
She is a doll and I am amazed that she didn't put whatever snack she found on the floor in her mouth. What a good baby!
