Scary mommy is right – the ‘worth it’ moments come EXACTLY when you need them. Not often enough to spoil you but just enough to keep you from actually becoming insane. Keep the adorable pictures coming.

I tellya, I know how you feel about staying at home and raising kids instead of working for a paycheck. It can be just endless thankless drudgery, then something amazing happens, and it all feels worth it.

So cute, and so, SO true. That’s the one thing that KILLS me about working…getting a call or coming home to find them saying “mamma” or crawling breaks my heart.

Congrats on the new skill! I am so sorry about the loss of Vincent and hopeful that Kramer will recover fully for you!

Mine got so much happier (at about 7 months, too) when they could sit up independently. You are in for happy playtimes! Sit back, watch and enjoy! And wait for the crawling…..

I was going to comment something like this on your last post, yet didnt have the time. I’m also a SAHM and the thought that I can’t provide anything to my family bothers me. That I am unable to pay the bills or make things any easier, it gets to me as well. But then I think of the most important reason why I am here, for my daughter. We (SAHM) are the luckiest because we get to see all the firsts and be there every step of the way. And although I can’t provide financially because we have decided that I will stay home, I get to provide all my love and focus to my family.
Luckily, things will get so much easier for you now that the girls are on their way to sitting on their own. You’ll be able to go to the park and sit them on a blanket and entertain them. I hibernate at home as well, but I’ve also learned that if you still want avoidance from others, you can go to the park and hide their as well. It gets everyone out of the house plus some fresh air.
