Well the one we had years ago (light and sound) worked great, very sensitive and all that jazz....then it stopped working recently (after 2.5 years of use). So we went and bought a new one...same kind but the new model they now sell. I needed it that night and it was garbage day teh next day so I threw the package away once I opened it.... fucker didn't work!!!!! The little plug that goes into the monitor wouldnt stay right and it wouldnt stay on...couldnt take it back I already threw the package away. I've had nothing but trouble with the Fisher Price monitors! Actually all the fisher price things we have are pretty crappy. Maybe Fisher Price needs to learn from Graco - when our swing started smoking...a 2.5 year old swing....and we called them about it, they sent a new motor for the swing for FREE even free shipping and didnt even have to send the broken piece to them either.
