I just bought a huge play-yard enclosure that I love - it works as an octagon or as a super long gate (I use it like that to protect a huge doorway AND three bookcases lined up along a wall). It was $70 on Amazon and you can buy extension panels to make it even bigger. . .

Works really well for my niece, Piper eventually, and the 20 other babies that frequent our pad (there will be 6 here today and one more in-utero; plus Simon and another 2 yo. Also, just re-read that and OMG.).

I got them at a garage sale. But I've seen them at Sam's Club, a brand-new set for between $20 - $40: http://bit.ly/18tMBZ (I've seen a cheaper set than this one there but I can't seem to find it online.)

That is so exciting and frankly terrifying. My two move, but it's such a snail's pace. I'm not sure what I'll do once they actually can move with purpose. I think I need to hire a babyproofer.

Incidently, the mat--I've been looking for something like that, but haven't found something quite right. Could youshare what it is/where it came from?
