Elise: 1, Althea: 0

I think I witnessed my first baby fight.
I was distracted by my computer while the girls played on their play mats next to me. Out of nowhere, Althea let out a long, siren-like wail that indicated she was hurt. I spun my head to see Althea screaming while reaching out her hand and sticking her fingers in Elise’s mouth, causing Elise to cry and flail in protest.
After examining Althea’s face, I realized Elise had scratched her nose and forehead. Score one for the big sister.

Oh! I’m sorry she is hurting, but her little epression in that photo is priceless! She look like she is secretly plotting her revenge! It will be the first of many fights to come I’m sure!
How it started…
Elise: Did you see that pic mom posted of me with the popped collar? I’m so embarrassed!
Althea: Girl, you really need to control yourself with the boys. Don’t let them leave marks.
Elise: what are you trying to say? I think you are just jealous because all the boys think I’m the cute twin.
Althea: Whatever, at least I’m not the stupid one that tried to tell mom it was a curling iron burn. You dont’ even have enough hair to curl.
Elise: Don’t even go there!
Althea: Too late, I’m there
Ahhh… The wonderful times you have to look forward to. Glad I have boys! Holes in the wall are an easy fix and good insurance for broken bones.
SMACK DOWN!
