Althea. Seriously.

As I reported in my last post, Althea is our more serious baby. She’s not humorless, but she does look at the world more critically. 

Anyhow, Althea has a “look.” It’s her serious look and it seems every time the camera is in front of her, she puts it on: lips pursed, bottom lip pouting, eyes wide as saucers.

We’re in Florida — that’s why I can’t imagine living in Iowa after living here! :D

One of my girls is more serious also! Emberly seems to find humor in everything. Aubrielle isn’t humorless either, but she’s certainly more serious than Emberly. Aubrielle’s look is similar to Althea: wide eyes and bottom lip out. For pictures, Aubrielle adds her arms wide open to her look a la Jesus on the cross for added effect.

I often wonder if I would have noticed if I had only one baby. I think that perhaps Aubrielle only seems more serious because I have another baby to compare her to.
